This page was created mainly as a tool to help develop my HTML and CSS skills. It is based off the website yearofcode.org and I decided, as we are approaching 2016 to do a review of my year. A year of Mord if you will.
Let's first take a look with how I got to creating this site in the first place. After spending 8 years working with Aish UK I made quite the career change and joined Amaze, a digital consulatancy as part of the new Amaze Academy.
The Academy is a six month fast track initiative to train the developers of tomorrow. Created to address the digital skills gap, the current Academy has six Technical Graduates and trainer Stuart Kirby who are on course to becoming high value digital professionals
Star Wars comes out this week, so that's cool. Here's the trailer
The absolute highlight of the year was the arrival of our daughter Orly!
Funnily enough Orly was born at 9.30am on the 29th of July. My interview at Amaze was at 1.30pm on the 29th of July.
I think I was only 5 minutes late!
At the time of writing I have watched 7 films this year, gonna be 9 after Star Wars though
I have read 27 books though, not too bad, 2 a month. Pretty impressed with myself
We bought 5 caterpillars and all of them grew into butterflies!
Loads to look forward to in 2016!
Hoping everyone has an enjoyable festive season, a merry christmas and a happy new year!
Somewhat inspired by yearofcode.org and by my own journey over the past 12 months I'm gonna recommend a resolution
Why don't you learn how to code in 2016? Give it a go, who knows where it will lead you!
There are 4 sections on the yearofcode.org page so there are 4 sections on this page too!
If you are looking for more resources to learn how to code, check out these sites too, some are free, some you'll need to pay for
If every Manchester City player was fit this is the line up I would select.
P.S. I was considering dropping Yaya for Delph, but he did score the winner on Saturday so I'll give him a week till I drop him
